As part of the research role I do, I've been advised that player height does get used in the ME. If you wish to disregard it or feel like it doesn't match up with what you've seen, I can't really do much to help that.

There's no control there at all, so you'd think a professional footballer would look to exert some control rather than letting it deflect off the top of their head. It was more making a point that there is a commitment smaller players have to make in time sooner than a taller player. You have to remember that basically its always better for your player to have more tools, more things available at their disposal? So you've got a fantastic dribbler - that's great, but that same guy with acceleration and pace gives the player more options in how to deploy that dribbling.

Wasnt talking about control and neither were you. We were both describing a static player having the ball hit at them at face height for someone 6ft 5 or under.

I dont disregard height in the game and normally sign a team of peter crouches anyways. Id have aaid harry maguires but then id loose every game.

Its clear in fm22 that height is overtuned as a 6 ft4 cb can score over 20 goals from corners where youll struggle to get 8 from a 6ft cb this wasnt the case in older games

Even more attributes than that will come into the mix, but if you have to jump to win a ball you have to commit to a certain course of action earlier. If you need to jump to win a header, and mis-time the jump you've completely lost out no matter what compared to a player who can stand there and the ball would basically smash them in the face if they don't react.

There are invariably more options available to a taller player, no guarantee they will pick the right one but in a lot of situations where a defender is probably going to be behind/goal side compared to a player if they're substantially taller it can seriously negate the utility of that defender.

6 inches isnt that big jeez, if a ball is gonna smash a 6ft 5 guy in face its gonna smash the top a 5 ft 11 guys head no jump required.

It was already mentioned here that the moderator Rashidi was losing every game with Aston Villa !!! with such a tactic now you come here and tell me I'm trolling because I say it's insulting and a straight up lie, that the only people who can't win with this tactic are people who are too stupid to understand the game? Give me a damn break. And again, who are you to ******* cleon '******, who hasn't provided anything meaningful after 3 months. If this is so easy he could just show it and not just insult people who believe it doesn't reliably work and talk again. Same pattern as in the old threads from him. People show how they use similar principle, lose every game, and they are the stupid ones according to him. Nobody on this forum can be as insulting and lying as him without any consequence.

I know Rashidi/Daljit, I would like to say hes a friend and mentor of mine and he has proven this works in the right circumstances. He definitely does not lose every game with aston villa.

Who am I to Cleon? He's obviously my wife and I would die to protect him...

Who are you? Nice multiaccount I'd say. Because Mourinho was the best coach 15 years ago he's still today? I doubt it. Also it's great that you mention the old threads, because I've read that what is left of it, even though without screenshots it is really pointless, but the user Cleon showed the same attitude there. He showed something that allegedly worked, then others tried it, lost every game, and asked for help, and he was using the same excuse as here, everybody else is too stupid to understand the game meaning it's not his fault. Show me a tactic that gets 4th with Burnley with low line and no pressing and I will gladly learn about it, but he is just talking talking talking and when somebody questions him it's not his fault because everybody who needs to ask him or loses is too stupid to understand the game.

who am I? My name is Callamity and I know enough to make it work for me :)

Multi account? More evidence of a troll trolling.

You are just talking, talking, talking.

Its a lack of knowledge about the game, the players, the attributes, the roles, the match engine, football in general, that make it not work for people.

That is why 99% of people throw the kitchen sink at the match engine, see it getting 33-3 shots win a lot of games, then cry about the game being broke when they lost a 33-1 shot game 0-1.

Prove me wrong, and I'll believe you

Yep, all you do is big announcements, insulting and trying to lecture people and acting like people are too stupid to understand football and the game football manager. And for some reason moderators don't care about it. Big announcements no show should be an immediate ban.

You obviously dont know who you are talking too.

Maybe come back in a few years once youve had time to go back and read some of Cleons work, and learn something about the game before you call him out as a no show.

    Stans ffs

I want to show again the 2D camera angle that gets worse every year. FM17 vs. FM22, exactly 5 years in between. The graphics were supposed to be better, but it's regressed...

Which football player has the ball in FM22 image, let's get the answers?

That blurry mess on the left is worse, you are suffering confirmation bias.

Everyone and their bad uncle knows there is a bug with the ball visuals, that will be fixed.

Can those struggling with high intensity playstyles upload it to the tracker and also with their training programmes for context? Using Rashidi's one for mine and while I see more jadedness than in FM21, it doesn't feel overblown, and certainly able to get most players playing good streaks of games, but would be good for SI to be able to investigate anything

I dont have any issues with high intensity play styles myself, but im one for lots of rotation building two teams and ignoring results till both teams are good enough.

Players who are not 16 by 1/9/2005 are not allowed to be included in the game for child protection reasons. Special permission was acquired for Moukouko and for Odegaard at the time, parental consent had to be obtained. YouTube is not a good barometer for how special a player is, mostly because they only ever include the good moments of a game. The music plastered over the top tends to be horrific too :D

That would give us a db of 31 year olds ;)
