It's weird how many differences people see on each game. For me, 23 was an absolute shambles. The ME was a joke. 24 is light years ahead of it and I've clocked way more hours on 24 than I ever did on 23.

So there will definitely be another data update. Just no ME.

To be fair, if you made a separate article and listed your frustrations in a non sweary way, you may be ok. They never tolerate anything on the feedback thread that isn't constructive towards identifying the issues that are raised.

Sadly the cynic in me says, from a business perspective, why would they do that. Absolutely no benefit for them to say that. I personally agree that you'd hope that the loyal community this franchise is built on would get that level of communication from SI but sadly, that isn't the world we live in.

I agree. I am ok with the ME as it is. Just would have been nice to get a slightly more polished version but I can certainly live with it until we see the shiny new 25.

I get that but the game is fundamentally built around realism and being immersive. I actually struggle more with this stuff and Klopp leaving Liverpool to take over City than I do with a few more goals in the ME...different for everyone though I guess.

The only possible chance would be if there were sat bottom of their CL group and about 10 points plus behind the top 4, which I imagine is unlikely.

To be fair, it is kind of irrelevant that Arteta is still manager in your save. It is more about the fact that he'd never be sacked in real life being 5th in November of 2023.

Yeah exactly. I feel it doesn't need to be toned down as long as it is balanced out in the overall context of the goals.

I personally think this ME is the best, certainly in terms of capturing what a "real" football match should look and feel like. One of the vast improvements is the dynamic of the ball, the different goals that are scored, crosses/passes played etc. One thing that we all (well, most) have recognised is the high amount of goals in comparison to XG and shots taken, which feels about right. Is there a case that the deflections in the game are one of the reasons we are seeing more goals? I am happy that these goals are captured but it does feel like a high number of goals are scored because little deflections leave the keeper helpless....

I think you can 99.9% guarantee this would have been looked at considering it is the number 1 issue that is being reported.

You can play it. This is the hyperbole that doesn't help anything. You may choose not to play it due to it nor being good enough for you but there are literally hundreds of thousands that are playing it.

I dont know what is expected though. They'll never give a date and probably not even a week. SI have already done way more than they have ever done before in terms of saying near future and advised what they are looking at.

This is dependent on what formations are being played (granted that shouldn't be the case) but it certainly isn't across the board. In my WBA save currently I've just come off the back of 5 games where there have been a total of 5 goals scored with 2x 0-0's and the goals per game is pretty much exactly what it should be. I did a Vanarama South save though and there were definitely more goals than there should have been. My point is that this isn't as black and white as it would appear.

But that is your choice. You have the game and can play whenever you want. Millions are.

I'm not saying they only care about the numbers. I am saying that human nature dictates that even if you've read every single negative on here, the numbers show that people are playing and obviously enjoying the game and those people are just as relevant as those who say it is unplayable.

The thing is, we have those on here that have made very eloquent and valid points, but.... ultimately Miles and all the senior management will do is look at the numbers and they blow away anything previous in terms of game time by those who have the game.

Well I massively disagree with this. It is one of the better things of this ME the variety of goals that strikers are scoring.
