Bringing Rashford and Grealish on when we are 3-0 up.
WHY IS HE SO CAUTIOUS FFS.
More goals in his two world cups than the five before them combined

This is why I don't get the issues with Kane dropping deep. There's been performances where he's been bad doing that and it hasn't worked, but generally it causes no end of problems for the opposition
I like Kane going deep as he always always always retains possession high up the pitch. What we need is runners off him. He looks isolated and bad if he doesn’t have those runners, which ain’t his fault

In Southgate’s two World Cups we have scored the same number of goals as the five world cups before then.

England will win by at least a three goal margin. Senegal are a poor side.
For balance he also said this

I’ve been so impressed with Kane tonight. He’s an end product machine

Great goal.
12 for the tournament for us now which isn’t bad considering how crap we are

The Qataris get most things right in terms of what should be allowed and what shouldn’t but letting this band in is a bit much

I’d fancy Real Madrid to sign him. Him, Tchonemi and Camavinga as their midfield for the rest of this decade.
But what about Valverde?!? Loads of too young midfielders around now

Bellingham and Foden are unreal. Both involved in both goals. Hopefully have at least two more world cups of them both
I agree. Can you imagine if both of them were at City feeding Haaland.

Who is favourites to eventually sign Bellingham by the way? Got to be Man City or Liverpool surely. It would be like cheating if Man City sign him.

Harry Kane has been by far our best player today IMO. Which is like 5/10

Where is Harry Kane? Why is he not making that run?
Flicked it on didn’t he?

So this is what Henderson and Bellingham are picked for. Countering ahead of Kane. Once every now and then

Henderson ffs so negative

I think he's stupidly isolated in that central area, needs Henderson and Bellingham loads closer.
Been the same in every game. It’s ridiculous. Hasn’t worked once (I didn’t watch the Iran game to be fair)

We really should bring Foden on. That’s the problem

It's the opposite, it's undercoached, like about 95% of international sides that don't play like top club sides even though their players are all that level
Mostly on the players ahead for offering no off the ball movement. Dribblers need to come deeper and make Senegal's defensive decision making difficult, as well as our playing out the back options better
Although if they do come back they need to not give the ball away there ...
By overcoached I mean the coach has instilled a tactic into them which clearly allows for no individual dynamism or fluidity. They have fixed roles that don’t work in practice and they’re not able to break out of it due to the rigidity he imposes

Pickfords rubbish remember
