I have a problem when I try to install your file. I cannot delete editor.skc. When I try to delete it, it's always going back.

And I have a question : do you think it could be possible to change a nation population ?

Some files could be downloaded in another place. Personally, I have found some files here : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content. Then, I have folders with numbers. And then subfolders with workshop files. It should be the same for you if you have a PC.

I've tried to put an Asian team in Oceania, and I've had an error message concerning U20 Asian Cup.

I've also tried to use 2021 files, and Russia was back in Nations league. But the Euro qualifications never began. And Russia wasn't participating in WC qualifications.

@Rainbowz and @zangelmi have managed to make the European Championship working with the same method (Kazakhstan in Asia). Apparently, Rainbowz used its FM22 files and imported them in FM23.

I've adapted Zangelmi's file and my country works again. Nevertheless, there is an error message concerning Asia WC qualifications when I make a test in editor. But this competition works when I test it in game.

OK. I'm happy with the Italian surnames, but it's the first names that don't fit.

I have created a nation "Corsica". In order to have players with an Italian surname, I added the Italian language (even with 2%) BEFORE the other languages (even if their importance is much higher). Result: the newgens have Italian surnames. On the other hand, I don't know how to have at the same time first names which are in conformity with the Corsican reality, i.e. either French or Corsican. On this subject, even if you can add new languages in the editor, this has no real influence on the game. I also regret the absence of certain language families or groups. For Brittany, I created the Breton language but the category of Celtic languages (of which Welsh and Irish are part) does not exist.

It should be possible but it's necessary to edit a lot of competitions : the European cups, World Cup, Euro, Nations League, Youth competitions ...

The last patch has excluded russian clubs and Russia from international competitions. For all the realistic purposes of that change, I don't believe it will be a lasting one, and I'd like them back.

How can I roll back to 22.3? It seems to be the only solution to this issue. 

P.S1: Starting a save with 22.3 database doesn't solve the issue, they are excluded no matter the database, and in older saves, they qualify but don't play at home

P.S2: I don't want this topic to be a debate about Putin actions and the war in Ukraine. That is not the issue here, so, please, don't. 

You should ask someone who started a game with 22.1 or 22.3 before SI updated FM22. I have one if you want, but I don't know if it's possible to come back to 2021/2022.

But if you want to play with the Outre-mer teams, you need to use a Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana ... file plus the French one. Because you cannot play with an Outre-mer team with this update. It doesn't include these championships, only metropolitan French championships (until Régional 3, so level 8).

I suppose some absences in the last years were caused by COVID restrictions (New Caledonia, St Pierre & Miquelon).

You create a manager with any given nationality. If you have the in game editor you can change it to Soviet.

This is only possible if the Soviet Union is an active nation in your country. The same method can be used for any revived nation btw, so becoming an East German manager is also a possibility now.

Your job is really amazing ! What a patience ! I would like to know what is your method to create a Soviet manager because I often create new countries with extinct nations. But I am not able to have for example a coach from Brittany or Corsica. It was possible to do it easily in FM13 or FM14 with a classical method, but not now.

Carlito85 made also files for Asia. You could use them and change the countries list, if the 2021 file works for FM22. After that, you would have to use 2 files for your new country.

You have to change Euro Nations League first. And add your new country in the list. I have put mine instead of Kazakhstan. It's the simplest method but you have to use 2 files (your normal file + the new Nations league one ) when you play a new game. Euro qualifying is linked to European NL.  Concerning WC Qualifying, it's necessary to change them if you use the second method.

It's not necessary to recreate WC and Olympics. You have 2 possibilities if you have only one created nation : 1 simple and 1 more complicated. The simple method is to use only basic rules. The more complicated method is to create a file with Euro Q and WCQ (Europe) combined thanks to notepad+. But if you have more than 1 created nation, the second method is necessary. Personally, I have only used the simple way.

you should change the UEFA Nations League. There is a section where you have the registered teams.

 

You need to put the Nations League in xml format. Export the file. Then you have to delete some lines in the xml file. Then import it and change the teams in the Nations League. Follow the link I gave you before.

You could download Carlito85's files (UEFA revival). It includes Asian competitions. Then, you could change one of his Asian files. And after that, you will have to use this modified file with yours.

Here is a file with "Pre-Ireland" instead of Kazakhstan in Nations League C. You will have to use 2 files instead of 1 to start a new game with your created nation.

 

I have used this method for Brittany, and it works.

 

Don't forget to make the 2 tests in the editor with your main file, because it's compulsory now. If you want, you could put the Isle of Man in League D instead of C.
