JoeLatics
Simple as really, I'm playing Inter in the CC, 2-0 down after the 1st leg, and both goals came from headers from crosses, their wingers ripped me apart! What should I do to stop the beggars?!
Mwtralha
have good fullbacks with good takling and marking and some other defensive stats and not having forward arrows on them (maxwell and maicon ). worked for me in a 4-5-1 (4-1-2-2-1) with Inter

phnompenhandy
Close them down, show onto non favoured foot, tackle hard Exactly. They tend to be not the bravest and can be scared off. Catenaccio83
Dont have full backs with arrows going forward cus if there up against quick wingers they'll just keep gettin caught outta position and wont be able to get back
Ezequiel_Lavezzi
Positioning and pace!!! I swear, in this game if they have poor pace or positioning I just dont bother.
stevenw
have good positioning and tackling for the fullback. i tend not to show wingers onto their weaker foot cos it would encourage them to cut inside.
phnompenhandy
have good positioning and tackling for the fullback.i tend not to show wingers onto their weaker foot cos it would encourage them to cut inside. Depends. If they are poor crossers and the oppo forwards are midgets, keep them on the wing to make ineffectual crosses. However, if your scout says the striker is a dangerman and stop the supply to him, you might be better making the winger cut inside. On the other hand, if the winger has good dribbling and passing skills, and your DCs are slow but win everything in the air, you are better off keeping him outside. So, there are a few factors to consider on a game-by-game basis when you set your OIs.
AlexNFFC
I always close the wingers down, and occasionally show them onto their weaker side. My full backs don't bomb up the pitch too much either - the opponent's half is 'nosebleed territory' - so they don't get caught out of position.
