lionbush
Ok Playing Chelsea as man City. Lost the first leg at home 2-1. I won the second leg 1-0 at Stamford Bridge. At the end of 90 mins I expected extra time as away goals only count at the end of extra time in the league cup, only to find that I had lost the game after 90 minutes due to the away goal rule. A basic error there that needs fixing. I have the latest patch on the game too.
jimmyriddle
the game would have had to finsihed 2-1 for that to happen (go into extra time)

lionbush
I think you mis read. I lost 2-1 at home first leg. I won away leg 1-0. Thats 2-2 on aggregate. But the game ended after 90 mins due to Chelsea winning on away goals. Away goals in Carling Cup only vount after extra time.

lionbush
Eh Jimmyriddle? The rules of the leage cup state away goals only count after extra time. After 90 mins the score was 2-2 on aggregate (semi final 2 legs). It should have gone to extra time not me losing on away goals.

lionbush
Chelsea had 2 away goals and I had one after 90 minutes. Thats where the game ended. But under the league cup rules the game should go into extra time as the away goal rule only comes into effect after extra time (120 mins) has been played. Therefore I should have been entitled to play extra time.
jod123
Yeah, if that happened then that is a bug as in the Carling Cup away goals only matter after extra time. Bugs forum
