I voted no, it isn't fair to pay for a patch. They should patch FM09 until it works for everyone.

You can't just release a new version of the game and say "Oh it's just the old one, except it works this time." Otherwise they'd have to give everyone who bought FM09 a free copy, because it would just be a patch.
