[FM24] Get The Lim Out - He Finally Left The Club - Valencia CF [Finished]

Ok, lets start a new FM save.

I wanted to do Tokyo Verdy, but sometimes you find rare opportunity to do this the perfect way.

 

I was testing something and this happend.

 

Valencia is finally free!

Lim is gone!

 

I think this is the perfect chance to do the Valencia CF save.

 

 

Santiago Canizares is ready to repair this club.

 

We need to repair this club and try to find the vibe of the early 2000.

Spanish and home grown talents mixed with South Americans. Maybe we can find the next Pablo Aimar or Gaizka Mendienta

 

The overall goal...there is a fictional 1 billion euro debt, we need to clear.

 

Rules:

1) Fun

2) I will play DoF style (with the editor), which means I dont play any matches.

3) Only sign Spanish speaking players and staff members.

 

Goals:

1) Win The Copa del Rey

2) Win La Liga

3) Win The Champion League

I decided to give someone young and fresh the chance.

Welcome to the club Guti as our new Manager.

I found two big holes.

We need one striker and atleast one starting winger.

 

 

This one was already done. You cant do wrong with Mister Ogbonna, even age 36.

 

Roughly 18 mio for two or three players.

I think we need to sell somebody.

Toni Kroos on a free for 1,4k mio/year is a nobrainer.

Nice one! I've never played a save as DOF with simulating all games, I bet it really does save some time! Plus your results are impressive! Do you have your own tactic set up and you choose your starting eleven for every game or you leave all of this to Guti?

It gives a complete new vibe to the game.

I would love if SI could create this in the game.

 

Almost everything is up to Guti. I only help with the individual training. 

For e.g. If a player only can play as CM, the manager wll never choose him in a 4231 formation. Because the midfield spots are DMs.

Thats why Erick Sanchet got zero minutes....

Rough December.

Pretty bad games vs Sociedad and Levante.

But two good draws vs Sevilla away and Real Madrid.

 

We finish the year 2024 2nd place.

Almeria is 3rd which is a nice surprise.

Overall Im pretty happy with the team and what Guti can do with it.

Erick Sanchez is off to Saudi Arabia. Sadly I didnt recognize that he is CM only, so he was complaining about game time.

I would love to move Ogbonna, because he is also mad.

 

Two big injuries left.

Gaya will be back in January, but Canos is almost out for the season.

I will look for a versatile winger in the winter.

Due to injuries we needed to do something in the attack.

 

As striker I wanted Gio Simeone, but he wanted to much money.

Agustin Ruberto is the smart option here. 19 years with a lot of potential.

 

I also wanted a new winger, I had my eyes on Moleiro from Las Palmas.

But 38 mio was a bit much for us.

We signed Cesar Huerta on free new summer. I looked at the buy now and they only wanted 2,7 mio.

Sold three players for money. All backup with 12 months left on the contracts.

I kept it smart and with an eye for the CL.

 

We brought Mosquera back home to the Mestalla. Also Juan Bernat is back home.

Asprilla I secured in the winter break. Nice option for all 4 positions in the attack.

Vallejo is a cheap HGN option to fill the squad.

Lo Celso on a free was too good to pass on.

Eneko Gabilondo is a nice bargain and our first newgen. 1,2 mio active relegation release clause after Osasuna went down.
