FeyenoordKings Posted March 9 Share Posted March 9 Just started Pentagon Challenge in Japan and noticed the AFC Champions League in 2024 has the normal group stage format and not the AFC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ELITE from 2024 format with the big group like in Europe?? rusty217 Posted March 14 Share Posted March 14 Yeah, I reported it back in November during the pre-release beta. Was one of the things I was most looking forward to in FM24 so it was pretty disappointing. SI's response was that due to the scale of the changes and the limited time they had to do it, it wasn't possible for FM24. I kind of get, given the format/qualifying was only finalised in August, but it's also kind of annoying when you consider they altered the North American Champions Cup before that was finalised (and that format was eventually scrapped and never even happened IRL) but not Asia. Something to look forward to in FM25 hopefully though. That said, I'm not completely sold on the new format, so hopefully they improve the editor at the same time to make it fully adjustable in case it doesn't work that well.
