league skips the 28/29 Season but continues normal after?

so, i created a database where the Bundesliga expands to 20 Teams at the 27/28, all great and so but for some reason the competition doesn't start the 28/29.

But when the next season starts 29/30, it all seems normal as if nothing happened.

added the editor file to check if it's a oversight from me.

Looks like the issue is the relegation playoff. It's not working properly so your leagues can end up with the wrong number of teams for a year, preventing them from working.

You need to update the promotion places here:d to update the

The 2027 version and 2 Bundesliga versions need updating for the new number of promoted teams too. After you change that in all 8 places it should work.

Since it wasn't skipping enough promoted teams when picking who to put into the playoff it was choosing an already promoted team. If they then won the playoff, the upper division team would still be relegated with nobody to replace them leaving you with not enough teams to run the league.

@rusty217 i did the thing you told me to do but it still doesn't work, but i noticed a few things:

German rules doesn't allow II teams in the top 2 leagues. But they should be replaced by the next teams then.

@Wolf_pd yeah but, Saarbrücken, Aachen and the rest are considered not allowed here

Are you running any other files alongside it? I'm not seeing an issue. Tested up to 2030 and every season ran correctly.

As for the teams blocked from promotion, probably is something to do with the B team block. I've noticed it can be a bit buggy in other files before. Not something I personally use though so wouldn't know how to fix it.
