How to play 442 diamond like Felix Magath?

Hi i try to create a 442 diamond but without any success.

i try to replicate the Style of Magath back in 2009 with Grafite, Dzeko and misimovic.

 

it should Look kinda like these:

Dzeko ofc target man

Any Suggestions for TI‘s? 
i couldnt make it work.

Moving the DM to support will help in your buildup, letting him sit higher to be available for a pass from the backline. MEZ(s) is also a nice add over the b2b imo. 

For pure effectiveness, a halfback will help you launch your wingbacks

Sorry, I've no idea how Magath put together his diamond, yours looks a great start but I'd swap the WB duties. CARR(S)/ WB(A) on the left is a great combo in narrow formations and the WB(S)/ BBM(S) combo offers something different on the right hand side while keeping good balance in the tactic 

AP(S)/ TM(A) seems a bit of an odd combo in my FM mind, Playmakers are great at offering the killer ball in a short passing system while a TM is the focus of direct passes in the more direct style system. I'd probably use a AM(S/A) - TM(A) combo or AP(S/A) - DLF(A) combo but it depends on the system you're putting together

Knowing the TI's you used would be useful 

Seeing as the 4-4-2 Diamond is a naturally narrow shape, I'd avoid anything that makes it narrower. It's a great countering shape, I'd probably start on Positive (because of it's slightly wider width), Play out from the back. Counter and take it from there. Bearing in mind, I don't have a clue how Magath played his

So thats the setup.

The idea is to make the front 2 primary goalscorer(Grafite scored 28 Goals with 11 Assists/ Dzeko 26 Goals and 10 Assists).

with the playmaker behind misimovic (7goals 20 assists).

Both CM's were supporting the wb's to work the ball up the pitch.

misimovic were roaming around the box for the pass/cross to Grafite/Dzeko.
