Needs improved specialist coaching

Hi community! I've noticed that most of my players state that "Needs improved specialist coaching". However, I have gold-badge coaches on Defensive, Attacking, Fitness, and Goalkeeping. How can I try to solve this coaching issue?

It might be that he would need another defensive coach or a different type of coach to achieve what he thinks he is missing. The problem of course is that may be to the detriment to other players. Not really sure what the solution would be, maybe Marc can clarify.

Hi - what position does the player play in? ... it might be that he needs two gold coaches to reach his potential, if you want me to check then please send me the save game (marc.vaughan@sigames.com) and tell me what to look at (as I get a fair bit of stuff from people) ...

PS - Chances are he's got a really good potential as this only triggers for players who have decent potential.

I'm a little late to this topic, but what ended up being the solution to Hommels' need for specialist to improve? And if the OP had to make a change to his group of coaches, doesn't that mean that there needs to be more coaches in the backroom? And also allow CPU to poach coaches as needed as well?

No it is intentional that the number of coaches in the game are the way they are, this means that there is a finite number of ways you can specialise and it is impossible to have a 'perfect club' - as in real-life there is only so much time available during a week for training and having 100 coaches wouldn't mean the players could all deal with them equally imho ... hence the limitations that have been put in place, if you want to maximize your flexibility then I'd suggest ensuring you unlock the coaching badges for yourself as manager and adding yourself to the roster of coaches, that does allow a little more flexiiblity (oh and CPU teams can poach your coaches, but its fairly rare).
