DM dropping between CB

I know this is, to an extent, hard coded for the half back role, but if I was to ask my keeper to distribute to my DM and take short kicks, would this encourage the DM to drop between the 2 CB similar to how the half back does?

Try "roll it out" and "distribute to play maker" on a DM with "comes deep to get ball" trait.

Using a DLP/d in the middle DM slot works best.  Preferably, don't have Play Out of Defence selected. Distribute to DLP using Short Kicks or Roll it Out.
