That's the deal when you start competing near the top!  You need quality backups as well as starters.  I too have been reluctant to do so in general - often to my own detriment.

Funny to see Neco Williams do so well for you - Benjani signed him on a free and had him as a rotation option for a few years at Portsmouth, but he was a bit of a liability defensively and got moved on for a cool £38m.  Looks like your save's version is blessed with more pace, better concentration and a few other attributes.
