iamnobody
Dane it! A youth save with good pastries. Short history of RIF Ringkøbing Idrætsforening (Danish pronunciation: [ˈʁeŋˌkʰøˀpe̝ŋ]) is an association football club based in the town of Ringkøbing, West Jutland, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fourth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 1900, it is shortly known as 'RIF' and affiliated to the DBU Jutland, the regional body of football in Jutland. The team plays its home matches at Green Arena, where it has been based since 1999. The club's history includes numerous promotions and relegations, and some spells of sustained success. It was perhaps most prominent between in the Interwar period when it was a regional powerhouse, winning Jutland championships in the A-series (third regional tier) in 1920 and 1935. Aims of this same I want to see if I can get this team the top league and just see where this youth save takes me. WIth that....let's get started. iamnobody
Squad and Staff Overview This squad has a lot of players and I'm not particular weak in any area that I see (Although I would like another GK). Nobody has any value yet, but hopefully that will change as we move up the table. Team sorted by PA. Staff This is where we need some help. We don't have a HoYD or any Physio's right now. I want to get that sorted right away. I may also swap my AM for someone who shares the same tactical philosophy as I do as I'm hoping that is better for training. Finances Starting off not bad, but we'll see what happens when the games start. Facilities Not good right now. While Junior coaching is good I need to work on the Youth facilities and recruitment. abulezz
I love me any youth-only save, and with it being in Denmark it is a nice twist! This promises to be an interesting save
iamnobody
2022/2023 Pre-season Not a bad preseason only losing one game to a team in a lower league.
iamnobody
August 2022 A good start to the season in the league as we are at the top of the table after 5 games. We have a cup game against Esbjerg fB soon and since they are two leagues above us I don't expect our winning streak to last. In the 3.Division there are 12 teams, each team plays each other twice in the Preliminary Phase. At the end the top half go to the Promotion stage where each team plays each other twice again and the top two are promoted. The bottom half go to the relegation stage where they play each other twice and four are relegated. I really don't want to be in the relegation stage at the end of the preliminary phase. International Call Up I didn't expect this to happen this early in the game. Transfers Out We lost our backup GK on a free. They went to Frederikshavn Forenede (lower league team). Normally not a big deal, but now we only have on GK on the team. We really need a GK to come through. I'll take almost anyone at this point. This is a challenge of being an Amateur team. Our players can get poached very easily
iamnobody
September / October 2022 - Stumble, but do not fall The cup game against Esbjerg didn't go well and seemed to cause a dip in morale, but we got back on track in October. Currently we are at 30 points and last season it took 31 points to get to the Promotion group. With 8 games left in this phase I think we will qualify for the Promotion group. Making the team better I'm working toward my first badge and the board approved increasing Junior coaching. The board did not want to improve Youth facilities at this time though. iamnobody
November 2022 A mixed bag this mostly on the downside as we only earn 5 out of 12 points. The important part is that we are still on top of the leaderboard going into the winter break. We don't have another match until March. Once again the lack of paid contracts is rearing it's ugly head. One of my best midfielders wants to leave and move to a bigger club. While I can live with him leaving I will not be getting a transfer fee for him. I know that won't happen until I am semi-professional at the very least (or am allowed to offer more than month-to-month contracts). I asked the board to turn professional and they shot me down. iamnobody
2023 Youth Candidates preview While it isn't a great preview it looks like I will get a GK which I desperately need.
iamnobody
March and part of April 2023 The last four games of the Promotion group saw us easily qualify for the Promotion stage. At this point promotion to the 2.Division looks almost like a foregone conclusion for us as we are 11 points from 3rd place with 11 games to play. It makes me worried though since i don't know how this squad will compete in the 2. Division.
iamnobody
2023 Youth Candidates For this year we needed a GK and a DM from the youth candidates. We got both and overall not a terrible intake. Since it won't cost me anything I'll be offering youth contracts to everyone, but I know there are quiet a few who won't survive with us for long. DefinitelyTaylor
Good going! A tidy intake to note too.
