Just downloaded FM22 onto Xbox via Gamepass but

Game fully downloaded so no suggestion of waiting to November 8th but…..it won’t launch. Any ideas?

SI (Neil) has said that it's going to be available on Gamepass when the game is released, so I suspect you may have to wait until then.

Appreciate the reply, that must be the reason. Strange it downloaded though….if it’s ready let’s be having it!

I agree that it does seem strange. I will speak to SI and find out what's going on.

Thanks for the update. I would assume it's a pre-download, so that when it's released, you don't have to wait for the download, but you can immediately start playing. Some games allow that, but I don't know much at all about how gamepass works.

That's correct. The Microsoft store will let you install games on your machine so they're ready to play for release. That way on release day you're not sat around waiting for a download to be completed.
