Change set piece settings during match

Is there a reason why the set piece settings are locked / unavailable during a match? I had asked my team to hit corners at the edge of area. That didn't work too well so I wanted to change it. Nope. 

Another time I had forgotten to assign a corner taker, and my striker was taking them. I'd rather have my winger do it, but.. Nope! 

Can this be unlocked in FMM22, please? 

(or ideally in this year's version, but I assume you don't do any more work on the game now..)

I think this should be limited to certain changes only. Telling a different player to take the corner, yes, but deeper tactical decisions of how to set up for corners sits best with at the training ground.

I don't mind having to do it before the game, BUT I don't want it to all go out the window when I change formation mid game. If I've said to attack the near post ant assign the near post to my TM, then change from a 4 3 2 1 to a 3 1 3 3 mid-game, I still want that same player attacking the near post, but it seems to totally throw out my instructions.
