Another advantage that the human player has over the AI that is often overlooked is every new feature that SI added into FM is a tool for the human player to gain a slight advantage against the AI because human players adapt much quicker. If FM was a game purely of spreadsheets and tactics and remained unchanged for ten years, the AI will be developed enough that the human player would not have such a big advantage. There is a reason why competent AI only exists in games where the rule basically were unchanged for a century like chess while every other video game failed in this aspect with AI ranging from absolute stupidity to below average.
