michaeltmurrayuk Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 It is possible to get the players on the 3D view to use real kits - if you watch a match involving a licensed team you should just be able to make out the kit details. You can also add the kits in yourself like past versions, just the config file is a little different and I'm not sure if any kits have been made yet. gillskill Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 The 3D match kits are in graphics/pictures/kits, and for England have kits for all the teams from the Championship to Conference North/South. These are 512*512 PNGs, and look to be the wrap around strips for the 3D players, but despite staring at in-game pixels I'm not positive that they appear (which could be more to do with the size of my screen and resolution). Looking at the folder again it looks like you might be able to get the real strips for the tactics screen. Was this possible in FM2008, but i didn't get around to? michaeltmurrayuk Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 The strips do appear on the 3D screen, not very easy to see though even on my screen (1680x1050). The tactics screen kits were sortof customizable for fm08 - you could change the default style, but club specific kits didn't seem to work, not sure about fm09.
