[Suggestion] Buy back clauses

It happens a lot that a club keeps 50% ( or another percentage ) of the future transfer when they release a player for free and he signs for another club ...

All good so far and until now, but there is an issue that is not reflecting the truth ... I'll be using a specific example that has been in the Portuguese press the last weeks.

Chiquinho went from Benfica to Moreirense last summer, with Benfica keeping half of the sales value ... This means two scenarios : or you pay half of the transfer fee that another club pays or you get half of the received transfer fee.

In real life Krasnodar has offered 9 million euros and this means Benfica would receive 4.5 millions or would need to pay 4.5 million euro to bring him back to the club ...

How is this kind of situation translated in Football Manager ?

Benfica would pay 9 million euros and would receive immediately 4.5 million euros back and this would be considered as transfer income ...

However in case the club can't apply 100% of the transfer incomes they would have less than the 4.5 million euro available for other transfer expenditure.

My suggestion is to be able to make a transfer offer for the player of which we maintain a percentage of the transfer income ...

However this transfer offer would only be for the remainder of the transfer fee ... In the case of Chiquinho, this would mean an offer of 4.5 million euro ... No full payment and receipt of the percentage
