YouReds Posted December 6, 2017 Share Posted December 6, 2017 Hi guys, not sure if this has been suggested in the past but I would love to see an option to continue your save from a previous version of FM i.e from FM17 to FM18. Not forever but maybe just for another 5 seasons or so. I always do long career saves (mainly with one team) and feel this would be great whilst getting to grips with the new version and bugs etc. Thoughts on this? Guest Posted December 6, 2017 Share Posted December 6, 2017 This is something I would very much want, it is possible but would require plenty of initial investment of man hours to add code that compensates for missing or inconsistent data between versions to implement however once done the knowledge on how to make it work is there & has no future cost to use on each subsequent release. What it boils down to is how many FM’ers skip releases while continuing to play their current long term save as they are the only potential customers who add revenue value for a half price backwards compatible code update.
