CoolDjGuyFromBerlin
Playing fm touch 17 and encountering a problem, when selling players every bid that comes in they have the selling team wage contribution and its set to red so I cant try to remove it. Every single bid I get for any player has this and its always at 60% of more of the players wages. On top of this most of the bids are loans bid and when they do make a transfer bid it is nowhere near the value of the player. Then im expected to pay the wages of this player too. I have tried adding this clause in when purchasing a player and its never accepted so I dont see why it should be expected when selling a player but never works when buying a player, seems like yet another broken feature in football manager. vasilli07
What's your player wages and what teams are interested in him? If he is on big wages and only smaller or poorer clubs are interested, it's inevitable you have to pay that amount to send him away. In my Milan save, I send Honda away paying around 40% of his wages.
CoolDjGuyFromBerlin
Im managing Wigan, midtable in the prem. Most players im selling are signed from the championship before I came up and the teams bidding are all lower prem & championship teams, a lot of them are often relegated prem teams who should have large enough wage budgets
