andychar Posted November 26, 2015 Share Posted November 26, 2015 I have just finished my first season with Mansfield Town, I finished 4th but got beat in the Playoff final. I was dominating and at one point was battling for the title, then I lost my star striker. He was top goalscorer for the league when he got injured. He was the only striker on my team who was good at playing the false number 9. After his injury I started dropping points and struggled to score. Does anybody know of a good striker for a League Two team looking to get promoted who is good at False no. 9? I have scouted quite a few players but found nobody who is good at False no. 9. Honestly though, once you're in season 2 and playing lower league, it's best to look at the freebie market and the transfer listed market to see who's about, it's hard to recommend anyone really.
