MarcyBhoy22
Might be a daft question but how do you choose your teams marking style? Can't seem to find the option anywhere.
Mccue22
I see, then how do you choose to man mark? Is it a case of having to pick out the individual players you want to man Mark per game or would selecting 'mark tighter' in the instructions box be suffice? THOG
Mark Tighter is closest to the old man-marking instruction. You can set individual man-marking in a player's PI menu during a match. This will cause them to actually follow a single opposition player everywhere.
turek
And from memory, I think you can assign an opposition player to mark by clicking on it a second time, when a resulting drop down list shows the ones he can mark.
eriktous
You can set individual man-marking in a player's PI menu during a match. This will cause them to actually follow a single opposition player everywhere. Not in my experience. What I find happens is that the defender will track his mark during the opponents' setup play, then when the ball is played forward and the attacker starts his run he will stand and wait till the attacker has a 10 yard or more lead and will then slowly start following him. Even defenders with marking 20 and pace and acceleration to match the opponent will behave this way (think Balanta with three seasons in the PL under his belt). I've stopped using the PI altogether, because in my experience the defenders' behaviour with it is fatally flawed.
