Finished my second season (08/09) in 2nd place behind East Bengal, found this season more difficult in bringing in players and I wasn't helped when ace forward Majit Singh was out injured for 6 months Anyway, won the Federations cup and got knocked out of the Durand Cup at the semi-final stage by East Bengal. Not sure how fast I'll be able to keep up though due to other commitments outside of FM (yup, there are other commitments!) Started with Mahindra Utd, and set about signing some talent to try and win an really short league season. Afetr getting to the semi's of the Federation Cup, I've made some progress in the league, and after 8 games sit second, behind East Bengal, who have won all there games to date (I have suffered one draw). With the season being so short, it looks like Bengal are going to be hard to beat, but I'll keep going and see if I can nick it. Quick question about continental qualification. I assume that the league winners go directly into the confederations cup, and looking at the past history it looks like the winners of the fed cup do as well. Sorry Justin don't have game running, unsure how I qualified for Confederation cup, hopefully will get back to you . Beat East Bengal in 1st league game, but they were too strong & won league, injuries & suspensions hit me hard. Was in debt at end of season, let 2 players go on freebies, & board overuled me & sold my best 6 players to East Bengal for $4M. I have bought 13 in for 300k, not much talent about. I will see how next season goes, if East Bengal dominate I may have to admit defeat. It does seem that whilst people complain about a few stats being wrong in the Premiership there are hundreds of bugs/errors in the smaller and less reputable leagues around the world. An exciting end to the 3rd season saw Mahindra win the championship on goal difference from East Bengal, summary I stuck around for a couple of weeks before resigning. Went on holiday until any job offers. Watford & Sheffield United were very keen on me. Finally HKFS offered me a chance to move on to Hong Kong, and here I am We are 33 to 1 to win the league, avoiding relegation will be an achievement. I've given up on fm single player for a while due to exams etc. And it's quite difficult to post being on moderation but I will venture over here whenever possible to check your progrees.
