superplayer
hello everyone! Does the number of database changes affects the game speed? for example, if I make 20.000 changes in database my game will slow down?
CMdan44
I'm not sure but it will probably affect stability. I've not noticed any massive speed issues with my current (FM2012) save which has over 70,000 changes, but there are often some stability issues. DeadZone
Problem is, changes aren't removed if you revert something back to it's original value For example, if you change a players PA from 180 to 200, then back to 180, it'll register as 2 changes (and show in the XML) despite the data actually being identical
KUBI
It tooks only longer to start a new save, as all your data changes has to be loaded into the database.
CMdan44
It is possible to delete the changes though, DeadZone. (or it was on FM2012)
DeadZone
It still is possible, but it's a pain in the ass to go through thousands of changes and pick out the redundant ones lol
