arnies
Is it best to resign when you know you are about to get sacked? Will this help keep your rep at a higher level compared to being sacked?
MichaelBrown
It depends on the circumstances. I like to think that I can turn around any job, sometimes I can, sometimes I can't. Whether it's signing a couple of experienced pros and trying to grind 1-0 wins, I always try. So, I wouldn't resign.

Keep fighting until you're knocked out literally. You never know, I've been on the verge loads of times; some you win some you lose. Like MichaelBrown says, a couple of flukey 1-0s and live to fight on. One of my best saves ever was at Avingon and I pulled it back from the brink and it made the rest so much sweeter when I ended up untouchable as job status.
