furiousuk
Depends who your strikers are
llama3
yes entirely depends on your strikers but as a basic (depending on the players) i tend to have a poacher/advanced forward (attack), partnered with a deep-lying forward support or target man support - but depends massively on the players

furiousuk
Whilst not strictly necessary, it's normally advisable to have 2 strikers that compliment each other. I don't really know the player but aren't those 2 both quick, finisher types? If so Adv. For/Poacher (attack) would be good and then aim to partner them with someone else. As Llama says, Deep-lying forward or target-man support would work well, as would complete forward-support. The support/attack combo is usually an effective one. Big man/small man or creator/finisher combos are good. The Treq/Poacher is an example of a creator/finisher combo but for that to work you'd need a player with good creativity, first touch, passing, decisions, teamwork to be your treq whilst your poacher would need good anticipation, off the ball, work rate & finishing. When you select a role for a player you can see which attributes the game values. Also, try and think why your strikers aren't getting goals. Are they snatching at chances? Are they even getting any chances? Are they best scoring with their feet or with their head? Who are your suppliers and are they central playmakers or wide players? Are your strikers just in poor form? All these questions require answering if you're going to work out why your strikers aren't scoring.
