Set Pieces & Tactics (More a question about game mechanics, really)

I've finally gotten to the point where I think I understand how to tailor my tactics to my team in FM11 (yes, I know, late to the party, but there you go). So now I want to try and work on set pieces.

However, I'm confused on how setting up set pieces works with the game.

I rotate between three tactics, all of which are a slight variation from each other using a 4-1-3-2 formation (this detail doesn't really matter). If, in the tactics window, I pull the drop-down to the various set pieces and make changes, do those changes only apply to the tactic I currently have selected, or are those my "general" set piece instructions. The latter would be akin to how you set your captains / penalty takers / etc... in the tactics window but they apply to all tactics.

Hopefully this is a simple question with a simple answer, but for the life of me I can't currently figure it out.

To the best of my knowledge, set piece instructions are specific to the tactics. If you want 'general' ones, you'll just have to set them the same for your three tactics.
