jollybrown
Hi. I have been looking forward to footy manager 2010 for so long now and my laptop has just packed up! I'm desperate to know if the one I'm looking to buy will be ok, I'm on a budget so I'm worried about spending on something that won't be good enough. I generally play 3 leagues at once with large database. Can anyone help? This is the spec: intel pentium processor 2.1ghz, 800mhz, 1mb cache windows 7 2048mb 800mhz dual channel SDRAM 250gb hard drive 256mb ATI mobility Radeon HD4330 Please can anyone help? I'm really stuck! Thanks.
FrazT
That one will be fine- is it a dual processor though?
jollybrown
Yes it says it's an intel pentium dual core T4300 - 2.1ghz, 800mb, 1mb cache. Will this one run the 3D ok? Sorry for so many questions, I just want to make sure everything is ok and I don't waste my money!
FrazT
There is nothing to suggest that the 3D game will not run perfectly well on this machine.
SWaRFeGa
Have you tried the demo? If not, why not?
jollybrown
I haven't tried the demo because I don't have a pc to run it on! Tried the demo on my old pc which worked fine but then it packed up. Can't afford to just buy a new pc without knowing it will work first.
jollybrown
Thanks for your help! One last question, there is an option to ugrade the RAM to 3072 from 2048mb. Do you think this is necessary? If it will run ok with 2048 then I guess there is no need?
SWaRFeGa
The more RAM the merrier. 2GB isn't so much these days.
jollybrown
Hmmm, maybe I'll go for the extra then just to be on the safe side. It's an extra £32.
SWaRFeGa
1GB extra of RAM would cost around £30 if you did it yourself, so it sounds very wise to get it
jollybrown
Ok, I'll do that. Thanks for all your help.
