AcidBurn Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 I have never tried it but I read on here that some set there best headers of the ball, usually the two CBs to attack the near post. Then they set someone to attack the far post and got the corner taker to aim for the far post, this dragged their best defenders to the near post and left a player virtually free on the far post to score, I think they said they had something like 20 plus goals in a season doing this. mlyons Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 One central defender on the near post, the other on the far post (on the posts, not attacking them). My main striker set to attack near post, my best long-range shooter lurking outside the area, and everyone else set to "back if needed". Corner taker set to mixed. Works really well -- I score from a corner about every other match, on a squad without too much in the way of aerial presence. The idea is to keep your main scoring threats isolated from everyone else, so they have more space to get free. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
