fenomeno21
In game, there are a few board positions, director of football, director, general manager etc. I would like to know what they actually do? i thought maybe a director of football would/should influence who computer controlled teams sign and should possible influence who i try to sign? also, when i haven't made signings, i haven't come across a chairman that signs players for me like in the previous version of FM (although this was flawed, signing players in positions where you already had the best in the world). i would just basically like to know what there role is in the game because in real life, they obviously have a big involvement in all sides of the clubs progression. thanks for your thoughts...... Cam_Warw
They are generally the people that become chairman, when the previous is replaced within.
Danny_js100
I definately agree.. if there's a director of football, they should have more involvement and not be purely cosmetic..
Dave Fairbairn
They aren't cosmetic, they are part of the board, and assist the chairman(it matters the chairman's attributes) in making his mind up on things, and as mentioned earlier, they are also considered for the chairman's job if the chairman steps down.
