    Hello SI team,

I just updated FM23 to the 23.2 patch. When I try to start the game, a series of error messages appear (attached with this post). And the game will not start.

Please have a look. Thank you

Dear developers, I tried deleting the contents of the following folders:

    C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2023

    C:\Users\(username)\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2023

Then the game stopped crashing. But I would like to know a simpler solution, if available. Thanks guys

Hello, thank you for flagging this. Can we ask if you are using a custom skin when playing FM?

I am using the custom facepack and logo pack I downloaded from FM Blog.

I also delete the contents of
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2023\data\game\movies
to make the loading faster at game launch.

It appears that whenever I load a new skin, the game will crash if the 'movies' folder is empty.

If 'movies' folder contains at least 1 file, the game will not crash when I load a new skin.

This did not happen in the 23.1 patch.  Choose you have a look into this. Thank you

The game is setup to run with a default setup - if people are purposely removing files which should not be removed and it's crashing, that's not something we're in a position to fix. Our recommendation is very much to not remove any existing game files from the installed folders.

    Thanks.
