Schalke going into administration five days into the season

Hello, this doesn't seem to be reproducing on our internal builds.

Do you happen to have a save from right before the issue?

I've had the same issue - I've saved the files to the cloud as Schalke pre admin.fm and Schalke post admin.fm 

 

I did not experience the same issue. In my case the finances where restructured and a new loan taken.

However, I see the financial situation displayed incorrectly. Yes, Schalke is in serious financial debt. But accoording to the latest group report, Schalke has "only" 180 million euros in financial liabilities (page 7, section C). According to the FM, Schalke has a loan in this amount, so the additional negative account balance exaggerates the situation in my opinion. In this form, Schalke is difficult to play for. Very unfortunate for the many fans (with 180,000 members, one of the ten biggest football clubs in the world).

 

Hope you can fix the setting financial situation.

Just today Schalke published the numbers for the first half of 2023. They actually reduced their financial debt to 165,1 million Euro. Here is an article on this topic. Sorry, I did not find one in English so you'd probably need to translate it.

Reloaded and the next time it did not come up. So there seem to be some hidden odds or so. But you probably know better. Let me know whether you are interested in a savegame.

Looking into this, its basically on a knife edge on finances of whether they go into admin after debt restructuring.

You claim about them now having ~ £165 Million debt, if true, we could change that in the Database.
