Mezz Boms
What does ticking / unticking this box actually do?

jod123
In certain countries like Germany I think certain types of takeovers are not allowed like tycoon takeovers. If you tick this box the types that are not allowed in reality will not be in the game and if you untick it then any takeovers will be allowed in any country in the game. Jonfun1980
Is there not a team in Germany at the moment that are top and they are run by a tycoon?
jod123
Yeah Hoffenheim but I am not sure how it works in reality but I think there are rules stopping them spending like Man City or Chelsea did but I am not sure. My example of Germany might be false but what I said the option does is correct.
Mezz Boms
So basically if the box is unticked then there is a higher chance of more takeovers happening in any countries. Cheers guys
DontCallItSoccer
Hoffenheim are not owned by Dietmar Hopp, the law does not permit takeovers like in England. But you can, if you have the money, be a patron to a club. It's like sponsorship, but by a single individual. St Pauli used to have such a patron for a while. iand123
I think germany there is some kind of rule where at least 51% of the club has to be owned by a supporters club or foundation. They can take patron's as already mentioned but they can never own the club. Chairmen etc are then voted by the members of each club
