Help - FM08 Crashes During Second Half of CL Match

My FM08 games crashes in the second half of my champions league match. It's done so for the third time and I have no idea why this is so. Does anyone know why and how I could resolve this issue? Any help will be much appreciated.

When does it crash and how does it crash? Does it freeze or crash to desktop?

If going on holiday doesn't work then try checking your hard drive for errors. Also if you haven't already done so install the 8.0.2 patch.

It crashes during the second half of my champions league match with Sparta Prague. It comes up with a message box and says a crash dump has been created in the crash dump file (which I've yet to find one). When I click on okay, then an error message pops up saying 'fm.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close'. And then it closes.

I've got the 8.0.2 patch installed.

I'll try try skipping the game and see what happens.

I'd try giving your computer a check for hard drive problems and possibly virus\spyware issues. If you have a virus scanner make sure that it ignores any folders that fm uses because this can sometimes cause problems.
