How do you get an injured player off the pitch?

I asked this a few months ago but didn't get a definitive response.

I have used up my three subs. Then I get a player that needs to be removed from the pitch. Try as I might, I can't find the way to do it. I thought that I had found the answer and I wrote it down but now I can't find it. Anyone have the answer please?

I don't know if there is a way to do this. I have had it come up in my match feed pop up saying 'Take Off' but that was only because the player was signalling he wanted to come off, I've never had it do it if they don't want to or if it is because of stamina.

You can't it does it auto if he can't continue. If it's just a knock you need a sub to be able to take him off.

Thanks Cleon. The injured player was highlighted in a beige message box and I thought I had the message 'this player needs to be replaced'. I was probably wrong but I'll watch out for it when it happens again.

You probably did have that message, the assistant's feed back isn't smart enough to know you had used your subs though.

this happended to me to, you can actually click on the sub in the assistant manager message box, and he will be taken of, without a new one coming on(at least it work in training matches for me)
