Probably in the wrong forum section. Although a simple explanation to a newcomer would be ideal, it doesn't always happen. Your other locked thread was about american football, which has no place on a football forum. FrazT Posted November 30, 2014 Share Posted November 30, 2014 I agree that some explanation of why a thread is closed is useful, but also there are some which are so obvious that no real explanation is necessary. Almost all the posts have been in the wrong forums or irrelevant and some have had links to other websites which is not allowed, If you read the rues and abide by them, then the only reason for closure will be if the question has been answered or the the discussion is going round in circles.
