Darrel
Hi, I am managing a team in the second league of Germany. My reserve squad doesn't play any competitive matches (i.e. no matches which are simulated). Is there any sense to put player in that squad? For exampe, will players get match fit there (due to matches on lower leagues than simulated)? How do you use you reserve teams in those cases? Cheers Mark
Darrel
My reserve squad has a match fitness about 50-70 %. It would be cool if FM 2015 (or future versions) would consider that reserve squads play every week. So they have a rather good match fitness. Otherwise I don't see any sense in having reserve squads. Or do I miss a point?
metal_guitarist
You will need to arrange friendly matches for your players to get match fitness. They won't be match fit if they aren't playing. It'd also be a good idea to make use of loans with recall options if you need to call them back in an injury crisis etc
whilewolf2
In FM14 there was bug where once the season started all the options "nearby teams, teams of similar size" would become greyed out has that been fixed? it's a real game breaker for me.
