Indiana Jones Posted September 4, 2014 Share Posted September 4, 2014 absolutely my biggest bugbear is the amount of unnecessary early retirements of decent footballers. 2 seasons in and already beckford, hutton, afellay, amalfitano, deeb, gedo, sammaritano, fabbiani, etc, etc, are retiring at around the 30 year old mark. I appreciate that players do retire early, but its bordering on the ridiculous at the minute. the games AI is seriously broken if it thinks that so many decent footballers would call time on their careers at such an early age. ok I accept that they probably haven't had the offers they crave in game, but to retire is just ludicrous imo. needs sorting. Cougar2010 Posted September 4, 2014 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Balancing your save better when you create it in terms of playable leagues/database size/extra players loaded would go a fair way to helping with your issue. That said I expect we'll see improvements in FM15 on older players not declining quite so much and also being more open to lower offers when they are unemployed (Both rep & money wise).
