chosing feeder clubs

Does the option where the board offers you the chance to chose a feeder club work this year or is it still broken?

on two of my saves ive had a choice of 3 parent clubs and the ones i chose i was given...not tried feeder clubs though.

That's something else. when you have been at a team for a while and ask for a feeder club they will ask you if you want to chose it or if you want the board to pick. When the board picks they give you a choice of 3 or 4 clubs. In FM2010 when you chose to pick you could select any team in the work and the board would try to negotiate a deal. In FM2011 that second option was broken and all picking it did was cost you your chance for a feeder club. I was wondering if they fixed the bug from 2011.

I tried this and all the board did was give me the choice of three feeder clubs. It appears that it does not matter which option you pick. This is an improvement on the buggy 2011 version, but not as good as the 2010 version.

I don't remember which thread it was in but someone from SI said that this option had been removed.

Its not been removed, as Ive been offered the chance to do it loads.

No idea if it works though cos i always ask them to do it because of previous problems, though maybe part of the problems arise from people being unrealistic in their choices
