  1. Yes this is something I'd love to see. It breaks immersion to see a team like Ajax going out and spending £20m+ on players who are aged 30 and over.
  2. I'm assuming this is a bug and I'll raise a report but I just had a goal VAR reviewed reportedly for offside, directly from a corner. Obviously wasn't disallowed but I think it would be pretty much impossible to be offside straight from a corner?
  3. While I appreciate the finger guns, I think saying someone providing feedback in the feedback thread is 'clogging it up' is a bit rubbish. You're the mod though I guess...
  4. I have seen an option before where a players asks for a new contract and you can say 'even if I wanted to the club can't afford it right now' but that is pre opening talks.
  5. While I see your point I'm not sure it is the best use of time if I'm clogging up bug forums with stuff I don't actually believe are bugs. The xG thing for instance- I don't think it is a bug that needs fixing, I think it's largely a situation where morale is a bit overpowered and the game isn't great at providing useful feedback for the player. This isn't something I'd suggest meets the definition of a bug and I'd wager you don't actually think it is a bug either.
  6. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't see the things I'm flagging as bugs- the systems are working, I'm just feeding back that the results can seem off. Also I just don't tend to keep multiple versions of the same save and frankly I shouldn't need to just in case for a game that came out months ago.
  7. No because I don't think its a 'bug' per se. I put it in the feedback thread because my feedback is this sort of thing needs to be tightened up.
  8. I'm in 2028, so entering my 6th season in the game. My team have won two Premier League titles in the last three years along with a Europa League, an FA Cup. We're going into our 3rd straight season of Champions League football. Everton, in those 6 seasons, have spent four years in the Championship and this current season will be their 3rd in a row in the second tier. We have a 4.5 star worldwide reputation, Everton have a 3 star reputation. I'm not exaggerating that it breaks my immersion to have the press asking me questions about whether I'll be hanging on to my top scorer in the face of interest from a team in the second tier. Imagine if, IRL, a journalist asked Spurs this summer how they feel about Southampton wanting to buy Harry Kane. It wouldn't happen and it's silly.
  9. Another example of a silly little thing that breaks immersion. Evan Ferguson has been the top scorer in my Norwich team that just won the title for the second time in three years. Everton are in the Championship. I know the news item says Ferguson isn't keen on the move but in what world would this link even exist? A Championship team trying to buy the top scorer of the Premier League champions?
  10. As another Norwich fan I'd add when we had John Hartson just before he retired. Amazing to think he was only 32.
  11. I like in a shootout when a player goes straight from his halfway line walk into his run up.
  12. I absolutely agree about this being overall the best game but at the same time by the far the easiest. I'm 5 seasons into my game starting as Championship Norwich and already have 2 Premier League wins, an FA Cup, a Europa League and a Champions League final to my name. In previous versions I've been able to get to the top of the tree but its taken much longer and generally I've struggled to move from being a top 7/8 side to being a title winner. I'm not downloading exploit tactics, I've just made tweaks to the preset options generally and I've had immediate success. Even though I've moaned about the annoying runs where you suddenly can't score/the opposition is lethal, in general winning games is far too easy. In previous versions I've struggled to get wins against the top teams, this year I've already got wins over PSG, Barca, Madrid, AC Milan and Juventus in my two Champions League seasons, along with regularly having thumping wins v Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool etc in the league.
  13. Wonderful to see the game saved the cherry on the top of this particular run for last (these were my final 6 games of the season). So by final count my opposition managed 15 goals from an xG of about 5.5, my team managed 6 from an xG of 13.68. I don't buy into the conspiracies that some do about the game being rigged etc etc but it is tough not to get frustrated when things like this happen. I'm assuming it is a morale issue where some key players had a bad game or two and spiralled but it is extra frustrating as this morale/form collapse has come at a time when morale should be highest- literally the first game of this weird run was the game that won us the league!
  14. I've complained before about the frequency of matches where you dominate but under achieve xG and opponent over achieves. I've seen less of it over time but I think the biggest frustration is how you suddenly find yourself in runs where this keeps happening. I pulled the numbers from my last 5 games where I've been on one of these runs just to show and make sure I'm not going crazy. So across these 5 games my opponents are averaging 1.2 goals per game, despite averaging 0.62 xG, while I'm averaging 1 goal a game while creating an xG 2.2 goals per game. Maybe I'm creating loads of low % chances and conceding loads of high % ones. But it doesn't seem so... In 3 of the 5 games I've had a better xG per shot than my opponent. I know games like this happen but when you go on one of these runs and the game offers no explanation or useful feedback it feels a bit like its pulling down the shutters and saying 'lets make this artificially harder.' Maybe it is beyond the game at this point but I'd like my analysts or coaches to be coming to me and saying 'striker X has been missing lots of high % chances recently and his morale is low' or 'keeper Y is getting beaten by lots of shots from range, we need to work on closing down those opportunities.' Instead I'm asked to dig through a not very useful data hub and click through 100 screens just to give myself even the slightest hint of what might be happening.
  15. Fair enough although I'd argue it is bizarre to have this ticked by default, especially if you've only got one player on your penalty takers list.
