  1. You would need to edit each European League separately! It can be done with different editor files though!
  2. Not sure this can be done using the In-game format because you can't promote teams from one country in to a league from a different country. You could move the Northern Ireland Prem in to the English Structure as a Third Division at the Vanarama Regional division level but they would lose the rights ro enter Europe from that division and each team would need to have english nation set. You might be able to trick the game into thinking that the division is still Irish somehow but you could eventually end up with a division that is really small if loads of teams get promoted!
  3. Off the top of my head it can be done by essentially copying the existing world cup, creating a new competition in the database for the main cup and the qualifiers and then changing the rules so that only over 35s can be registered!
  4. @Wolf_pd @rusty217 I have a similar problem to the issue in FM2023 where competitions are not generating records again. I have used the workaround like last season, and although it works fine with leagues, it doesn't appear to work on cup competitions. Has anyone else noticed this issue and if they have, how has it been resolved?
  5. I'm looking to find a way to stop a team qualifying for promotion, that finishes outside the promotion positions when an ineligible team finishes inside the promotion places but is ineligible for promotion. I hope that makes sense. What usually happens is that if a reserve team finiahes first then the runner up goes up, however what I want is for promotion to stop altogether in these cases! Feel free to ask any further questions, I've just never had any luck of reproducing this within the game! Thanks in advance
  6. @themodelcitizen Good work with the file. I have added my World Cup Fix to this file (obviously not published) and this works ok together. I was just wondering if you were still looking at the new Nations League format? I think i'm going to leave it alone to be honest as getting the playoff to work was challenging enough without messing about with a different competition. The way that SI have portrayed the North American structure is poor really. Hopefully they will improve on this in the coming years, Thanks for your efforts with these files
  7. Hi, you would basically need to create your own competition. Qualification from European Leagues to the UEFA competitions is pretty much hardcoded so you would struggle. There is a guy who designs his own continental competitions "UEFA Revival" (Google it) and he may have done something like you've suggested.
  8. The first thing i did (ages ago) was change the format of the playoffs so that 4 teams qualify rather than just 3. I then moved the dates around so that the GC setup after the playoff was arranged, which didn't work. I've tinkered about with it, and I've changed the way the GC picked the qualifying teams, so that it only looked at Nations League and Playoff and not the registered teams. I also noticed that in "other stage rules" an option was selected to make teams from stage 1 of GC qualify for the next GC... that was wrong. Since i've done that it appears to work fine and i have great pleasure in sharing the steam link with you below. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2996674702 Please note that the file also includes a World Cup Fix (12 groups of 4 instead of 16 groups of 3!) although i'm still trying to work out how to replicate the normal tournament style (Winner of Group A plays Runner Up of Group B, etc) so if you have any ideas on this i'd be grateful.
  9. I have tested a fix up to 2027 for the CONCACAF Gold Cup... i worked on it ages ago to no avail, but I've made a few changes today and it looks like I've got it to work as it should. I'm going to run a test overnight to make sure that it is working properly and if it does, I'm going to stick it on steam.
  10. It's a right mess of a file isn't it! If i ever manage to fix it, i'll let you know!
  11. Hi, i'm interested to find out if you managed to fix the gold cup issues? It's proving quite a stubborn thing to sort it!
  12. That's a brilliant piece of advice, thank you so much. This trick doesn't seem to work for the youth/reserve leagues but seems to work for 1st team competitions. It's very frustrating how buggy the game is at the moment. SI really need to sort it out!
  13. Hi all, I've noticed that if you create a new competition (new UID) then the competition records do not generate in game (under modern day) unless the competition history section has at least one previous winner in it. It used to be the case where these would just automatically generate, but for some reason this isn't the case this year.
  14. To get around this issue you would create two versions of the league. Version one would be a default, however version two would need to have requirements to only run if there are 7 Automatic European places. I'm assuming you can set rules where it excludes teams already qualified, however a euro places playoff is quite complicated to duplicate!
  15. Hi all. I don't think i've ever come across this before but in my custom Welsh League database (down to Level 8), new competitions are not generating records during the game (see picture of Aberdare League). Competitions that are already within the game (see picture of Swansea League) have their records generated automatically. I've tried to copy a league that generates the records within the advanced rules, and i've also tried to add a history record to a competition that doesn't generate a record, but neither have resulted in a fix for this problem. It's a very minor detail, granted, but i'd like to come up with a solution to try and avoid this in future versions.
