  1. Apparently the ASEAN Club Championship is finally being played this year, with a big-money sponsor so it might actually happen. Supposedly it will overlap with the AFC Champions League, but if you're playing in Indonesia or Thailand or thereabouts then I imagine the fixture pile-up will be pretty crazy: DOWNLOAD (backup) I've also given the winner a spot in the Pan-Pacific Championship as long as they're not in the ACL last 16 (or AFC Cup) the following January.
  2. I know, but 2023 is the default setup in the game, I mean look at the last update, they even clarified they're not doing 2024 updates/transfers in calendar-year leagues like this. From past experience trying to make these kinds of updates for the NEXT season (2024 in this case) results in MLS and the lower leagues being a weird hybrid of 2023/2024. Even if we updated all the clubs and rosters we'd likely miss something, and would have to cut, like, the pro guys from Flower City (who won the title IRL) so the club can move to USL2. Alternately trying to make the clubs move themselves after one season would throw up issues like that, especially teams like Flower City going from pro to semi-pro. Plus, it's like these changes happened because of things that happened IRL, like at some point during the course of 2023 an unsuccessful organization decided to leave, or a new team decided to join. These events aren't necessarily happening in FM-world which starts with the 2023 line-ups in early 2023. Also I'm lazy and already did all the work on scheduling and formats
  3. Like is it updated? I can still select it at a new game. But I'll save it again with the most recent update just to be sure
  4. Here's a revived Pan-Pacific Championship that plays a similar role from 2025 in giving teams who aren't active in their regional Champions Leagues something to do. Clubs from top countries on the Pacific Rim send teams, with a highly competitive range of leagues ranging from the A-League (99 reputation) to Liga MX (145 rep): DOWNLOAD (backup)
  5. Usually something with the groups. Like, if you've added some groups but forgot to give them specific entries in "individual group settings" or something like that
  6. Doing this now, taking the chance to update the 2024 (and onward) version for the new format (again) - back to two legs in the QFs and SFs. Just need to run a test to the 2024 season and make sure it's working. USL Championship is still throwing up an issue with any new salaries offered being extremely low, trying to find a fix.
  7. They've done that in the new update? I don't see it yet. If they've moved teams around I'll have to do something. If not, I'm not going to update it, this is for the 2023 season and onward from there. Same way SI maintains MLS - rosters are playable from preseason 2023 and where you go from there is up to you
  8. No, it's fantasy but fits in the calendar just fine
  9. Right now when the Coronation Cup sets up in mid-Jan 2024, it excludes all active teams in the big 3 tournaments, from a quick look at a future save and the new format, from 2025 onward you might just need to change the UCL "best teams in competition" number from 16 to 24 in the entries for the Welsh, Northern Irish and Gibraltarian teams in the qualifying round, and the Scottish and English teams in the knockouts. Otherwise, looks like the rules should still work (currently excluding the last 24 in EL and ECL, which work in the new formats too) Tottenham keep winning it, so for some variability I'd like to make the semifinals played as a single leg on neutral ground (Hampden, Millennium, Commonwealth Stadium come to mind), but that wouldn't do anything about the semis having the same problem - they're almost always four teams out of Spurs, Brentford, Fulham, Crystal Palace and Celtic. Too London-y. Do we do single-leg quarters and semis, maybe automatically hosted by the "weaker" league (typically in North America or Australia but sometimes Hearts, Aberdeen, Hibs or Rangers)? Do we exclude all 32 FA Cup teams still alive when this is scheduled? That seems too onerous but would really open things up
  10. Also you might have to tweak the way I exclude the active Euro teams from 2025 onward if you make it recurring. Not sure if it's still 16 teams advancing + 8 dropping down from the UCL to the EL (and so on to the ECL) in the new format. This ending after one edition had the convenient side effect of me not worrying about that
  11. And yes it's a one-off, but keep in mind we might have another coronation relatively soon which will draw me back here (hopefully not)
  12. That's cool, maybe for the team entry for NZ teams, take the "get best teams from division" "National League" entry and check the box for no reserve teams. That will keep Phoenix reserves out if it's a yearly thing and they get good enough to claim the spot
  13. OK, I've just finished cleaning it up, it's ready to go now. The English teams (and Celtic) do go far but it's reminiscent of the last time this happened anyway. You'll love that I've thrown Wellington Phoenix into the qualifiers every time, with no continental competition they deserve a shot at this
  14. Sure, just posted a mediafire link, cheers for the interest. Just making a couple of little tweaks so it's not all-English semifinals each time
  15. This is a one-off cup to celebrate King Charles III's accession to the throne of the 15 Commonwealth realms, who (along with various FIFA-affiliated territories) send representatives to this January-to-May 2024 tournament based on domestic cup and league ranking – with teams active in their continental tournaments not invited (so no clashes with Champions Leagues/Cups). Regional qualifying groups are held before a last 16 that includes 8 teams from the United Kingdom and leads up to a final in front of the monarch at Wembley: DOWNLOAD (beta) | backup The cup is meant to promote cross-cultural understanding and recognize His Majesty's coronation, and will only be held once.
