kieth barrett
Hi I've started a new game running three leagues (Sp, It and English) with a large database and my game is slow. By this I mean: 1) the "continue" button is reasonably un-responsive (by that i mean it sometimes requires a few clicks before it actually continues). This is the same for other in-game tabs. 2) The "setting up match settings" (or whatever it says when you enter the in game highlights!) takes a good 20 seconds or so! 3) And finally, the general processing is incredibly long specially Champions League fixtures! I've had all previous FM games and run the same amount of leagues and never had these problems. My system spec is as follows (I don't really understand this so i'm just going to type exactly what I see!) Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.20GHz 3.19 GHz. 2.00 GB of RAM Can someone please tell me if this is just the way the game is, or if my system is rubbish and needs updating!! If the latter is true, is there anything I can do to speed the game up particularly the "setting up match settings" slowness Thanks for any help
steph61620
Try playing with a small database.
ftg87
Also putting the detail level to minimum should speed up the processing times
Glenn Wakeford
Try setting the processing to fastest in your options, quit any programs you don't need that are running. Try a smaller database and play in a windowed mode. This should help a little.
kieth barrett
I've always played with large databases and never had any performance issues. Does everyone else experience an irratating delay whilst the games setup "match settings"?
Glenn Wakeford
The specification for this year's game is a bit of a step up on previous versions due to the integration of a whole bunch of new stuff.
