Trevez
Hi everyone. I don't know if someone from SI or anyone else knows the solution to this problem. I used the editor to create a new database to begin a game with, I played on anolder PC. Now I have recently purchased a good laptop. I have installed FM09 through steam like on the other system. I tried transfering all the data from the game I started on the older system to my laptop but when I start the game file it states that the database is not found. I have started a new game with a created database to see where the database files are and the database and games files are in exactly the same place as my previous systems files. I really don't wanna start again. Please help.
jod123
Does it not allow you to load the game? What changes have you made on the database? Have you swapped teams into different divisions?
TheOriginalJez
You either need to transfer the changed db over or run the game in windowed mode - that way you'll still get the error but the game will continue to run - if you then save it under a new name you won't have the problem again
MrPompey
have you copied the database over Do a search I expect you are trying to load from the incorrect folder
Trevez
Thanks very much, tried running it in windowed mode and did exactly what you said. Saved the game under the same file straight away and it reloaded perfectly. Cheers for your help
