Yes. Once again if have wasted my money and many hours of my time.

I am trying to play FM09 on my Mac. I have downloaded the update, but when i start the game it breaks down before i can start playing. Why?

I cant see where i am supposed activate my game. Where?

You don't have to activate with Macs I thought?

Well Im not sure about the breaking down perhaps be a bit more specific!

The activation on the Mac doesnt apply afair, its been a while since the launch but im sure im right!

I start the game by clicking on the fm.app button and it starts loading the game, but it breaks down/stops/exits the game before it is finished. And i have tried to many times, and have installed the game and the patch many times.

And I cant use the editor either.

Could you be more specific? What happens when you say it breaks down? Any error messages?

And as the others said activation does not apply with a Mac.

It is unfortunately impossible to be more specific since i don't know any more. The game starts loading but it suddenly exit.

No, sorry. I posted that when you were posting what you did above. What you said up there is what I asking.

Have you done a clean reinstall?

Which OS are you using, Tiger or Leopard? The original Mac patch is incompatible with Tiger, which was fixed in the Mac 9.1.1 patch. Furthermore, if you are using a PPC Mac, then the game won't work. Currently, FM09 only works on Intel Macs.
