Tommy Boy
I noticed a player I liked the look of, and his contract runs out in January... so I waited till January, and now his contract has ran out, but he is not available for free or anything like that, despite being out of contract? The player is Andriy Rusol, playing in the Ukranian League for Dnipro. Maybe their is a specific rule that applies to this league?
baker.simon
He may have signed a new contract, or are you sure you pressed the approach to sign option?
Tommy Boy
Nah, the option isn't even there to Approach to Sign, and where it usually would have his contract details, it just says "N/A".
baker.simon
Is he a greyed out player?

mrsl
Yes, somehow you can't sign players based in (at least) Ukraine before they are released for free, could be other nations too but I haven't noticed. Perhaps it's some kind of a rule in their league structure or something.
