skingegg Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Im managing Man Utd and my ass. man. Mike phelan is rated as being pretty poor. I cannot afford to get rid of him coz it'll cost me £3.5m which i could really do with in transfer market. Now, the problem is when i check out his feedback while playing he tells me that there are HUGE gaps from Defence--> to Midfield--> to attack. I've tried using a 4-4-2 tactic with runs to cover these gaps but i still get the same message from him. I changed it with NO RUNS and got same message. I played 5-3-2 and got same message, 4-1-3-2 same, 3-5-2 same, 2-2-2-2-2 and STILL got the same message. The actual playing instructions are not a problem except my forwards DONT SCORE (berbatov 43games 2 goals) My assistant tells me that the goalkeeper manages to give the ball away almost EVERY time he has the ball NO MATTER what i tell him to do.
