Desperate help needed for FM Vet

Huge fan of the series as per chaps but I am in a real bind now. Seeing the fabulous new features of FM 09 has really made me want to upgrade. Only problem is I've been playing previous version and racked up a fair old amount of play time. I am sure you all know how attached we can get to a certain team.

Is it possible you think for me to transfer my old game to the new one. I shouldn't think it would be that hard and I've got plenty of spare tapes.

Any help would be graciously received.

nah, you can't people have been asking for it every year, but it's just not practical. The game is coded differently every year etc etc. I don't know how it would work, but if SI made the game backwards compatible with every version I would think that it would be limiting the game somewhat.

You mean play your FM08 saved game on FM09?

Like jod and MSCCG said, that's impossible.

You can however (like me) continue on with your FM08 save when FM09 is released. (I got too attached with my Rizhiquan team and I only played the FM09 demo for a couple hours. I then switched back to FM08 )

Its FM sorry not 08 so I think it could be quite different/maybe easier to transfer? I've played 26 seasons so it would be quite hard for me to start again. If I get solution

Chingchong, FM gave saves are not backwards compatible. You will never find a solution...
